The brand-new 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE coming later this year

The all-new 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE combines luxury and convenience with advanced technology updates. The revised MBUX infotainment system, a “transparent engine hood” to provide extra visibility in difficult driving conditions, and electrification throughout the powertrain lineup give the newest GLE model improved performance and a even better experience behind the wheel for the owner, regardless of where the GLE is being driving. Inside, buyers will appreciate the updated interior design that provides more style options than ever before. Externally, revised elements including an optional AMG Line exterior make the new GLE even more distinctive. Here’s everything you want to know about the new 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE.

New mild-hybrid powertrains with improved performance

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE range offers more power and refined performance than ever before. The new GLE 350 delivers 255 hp while the GLE 450 offers 375 hp with an available 20-horsepower boost from their 48-volt mild-hybrid system for improved efficiency and smoother performance.

The sportier side of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE lineup comes with the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+, featuring a 3.0 litre inline six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers providing an even more impressive 413 lb-ft maximum torque. The top-of-the-range GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ comes with an AMG 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine that delivers 603 hp and features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and 48-volt electrical system for improved performance. Roll stabilization updates and adjustable air suspension offer better handling and provide an even more dynamic driving experience in the redesigned Mercedes-AMG GLE.

Enhanced technology and off-road capability

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE sees a major upgrade in its tech features. The 12.3-inch driver and central screens provide a clearer view, while tailored display styles improve user-friendliness while adding a new touch of elegance to the interior. Ambient lighting can be customized to your preference, and new interior colour combinations are available for added personalization. The MBUX infotainment system gets over-the-air updates and offers improved functionality through the interactive “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant.

The improved technology also helps on the road, or in this case off the beaten path. The new GLE has a newl Off-Road mode that provides enhanced off-road capability. The 12.3-inch central display displays gradients and angles for greater visibility on steep inclines and declines, allowing drivers to conquer extreme terrain with more precision than ever before. Moreover, the 2024 GLE also offers an exclusive ‘transparent engine hood’ view, giving drivers a better look ahead at any obstacles they may meet along their off-roading journey.

A distinctive new design

The reinvented 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV will turn heads with its iconic elegance and newly designed exterior, featuring a redesigned front bumper, chrome inserts in the radiator grille, and wheel options ranging from 20 to 22 inches. For those after an even sportier look, the AMG Line exterior package has also been improved, offering a striking presence.
